Introducing the iPhone 4S
Sales of the new Apple iPhone 4S start later this month and will cost $199 plus service contract for the 16 GB model. A 32 GB model sells for $299 plus service contract and a 64 GB model will come with a $399 price tag.

8 MP camera
Apple upgraded the iPhone camera for the 4S model. It now boasts 8-megapixel resolution and can record high-definition video. The phone now launches from the Lock screen, so users can spontaneously snap more images.

The Apple iPhone 4S includes a new antenna that finally addresses the embarrassing failures Apple experienced on the launch of the original iPhone 4. Apple will offer the iPhone 4S (and presumably the iPhone 5 when it comes out next year) through Sprint. As the third-largest American carrier, Sprint has much potential for gaining new and upgraded customers who always wanted an iPhone.
Voice Control
Apple built voice control into the iPhone 4S. Promoted as a virtual personal assistant, the Siri voice recognition feature allows users to speak to their phone to set alarms, send text messages, find the weather and do more with their phone. This helps make the iPhone safer on the road and more convenient in the office.
According to Apple, the iPhone 4S is the best iPhone yet. Consumers hoping to find the Apple iPhone 5 at the Apple meeting today experienced dashed hopes. However, Apple gets to make even more money from its iPhone 4 product and keep people guessing about when the iPhone 5 will appear.
