JailbreakMe not working frustrates Apple iPad, iPhone users

Now that the government has given the green light to jailbreaking Apple iPad , iPhone, and iPod touch, the browser based jailbreaking service JailbreakMe Jailbreaking has gained legitimacy with government decisionhas re-emerged as a legitimate service, much to the chagrin of Apple. JailbreakMe offers a convenient online way to hack your Apple mobile device without the need for download files or following sketchy instructions. Still, many say that the iPhone jailbreak from the online site does not work.

The JailbreakMe not working reports on the Internet could be caused by bugs in the service, but also contributing to the problems certainly is the massive demand for the site since Apple iPad and iPhone users were set free to hack their devices.

Jailbreaking is a slang term for bypassing manufacturer safeguards that prevent unauthorized services, features, and applications from running on the device. Apple restrictions have long been viewed as an attempt to maintain high prices and profits by stifling market competition. A jailbroken Apple iPad or iPhone 4 can run applications not sourced from the iTunes store and could potentially work with carrier networks other than AT&T.

For its part, Apple has resisted the new movement toward jailbreaking its devices saying that it may still refuse service for jailbroken iPads and iPhones and that jailbreaking presents too many risks for Apple users. After all, jailbreak iPhone services and downloads have been a bit shady and evasive, trying not to get caught by Apple. Now we can expect that jailbreaking downloads, jailbreaking Web sites, and jailbreaking services will expand now that a legitimate marketing for jailbreaking exists.
